An Apopka woman was arrested Tuesday for stealing four bags of shrimp from a Lake County Publix, according to a report.
Donna Lee Harvey, 30, was charged with retail theft.
Leesburg police responded around 2:51 p.m. to the Publix located at 717 N. 14th St., in reference to a complaint of a retail theft.
When police arrived, they met with the loss prevention officer who said he observed a woman, later identified as Harvey, walk to the seafood department and pick up four bags of shrimp.
Harvey then put the shrimp in her purse and walked out of the store, passing all points of sale, a report states.
She told police that she didn’t have her identification with her.
Harvey was taken to the Lake County Jail.
