———————————————

Our warming trend will continue for the next couple of days with highs getting closer to the records than normal for this time of year. We will already be starting off about 10 degrees above normal Wednesday morning.

During the afternoon, highs will climb into the 80s under a partly cloudy sky. We may come close to the record high of 88 set back in 1989.

Thursday will be just about as warm, but there will be a cold front pushing into the state late in the day. Isolated showers will be possible, with scattered showers in the forecast for both Friday and Saturday.  As clouds become more numerous, temps will back off, topping in the mid-70s Friday through the weekend.
