Police have given the "all-clear" at Stetson University after a bomb threat forced an evacuation.

DeLand Police began investigating at the school on Woodland Boulevard around 9 p.m.

Stetson University said McMahan, Elizabeth and Presser Halls, and the Lynn Business Center were evacuated.

A concert at Elizabeth Hall was just ending when the call came in. Police said a male voice told them there were pipe bombs in the music department buildings.

Students were asked to stay in the residence halls or off campus.

Students received text messages throughout the night to stay away from that cluster of buildings. About 1,800 of the school's 2,300 students live on campus, but none of the residence halls were evacuated.

Classes will go on as scheduled Wednesday.
