A Lake County man has been arrested after police found drugs and stolen firearms in his apartment during a community foot patrol.

On Saturday, officers from the Leesburg Police Department were conducting community foot patrols in the Carver Heights neighborhood and saw drugs sitting on a table inside Lloyd James Townsend, Jr.’s apartment.

After getting a search warrant, police also found marijuana, crack cocaine and five firearms, two of which were confirmed as stolen.

Townsend, 20,  was arrested on multiple charges including possession of marijuana and cocaine with intent to distribute within 1000 feet of a church, two counts of possession of stolen firearms and possession of a short-barreled shotgun.
