The search for missing Orlando mother Michelle Parker resumed Friday, more than 3 1/2 years after she was last seen, but police told her family members they uncovered no new clues into her disappearance.

"They searched the woods out there. It's a lot of wetlands out there, they're going to let it dry up and then they're going to search again," said Brad Parker, who is Michelle Parker's father.

Meanwhile, Michelle Parker's mother Yvonne Stewart can't help but cry when she thinks about Friday's search efforts.

“(I’m) so happy. I don’t like it. It makes me angry that we have to go through this all the type because it’s really painful and hard but I’m happy," shared Yvonne Stewart, while trying to hold back tears.

Orlando police searched a wooded area east of Lake Conway, near Lee Vista Boulevard and Semoran Boulevard, as part of a training exercise. It allowed officers to search for new clues in the area where Parker's cell phone last pinged.

"They’re trying to find (out) what happened to Michelle and the FBI is on it too. So, it’s just a matter of time when we’re going to find out what happened to Michelle," Brad Parker continued.

Police called off the search around 3 p.m., telling family members they found nothing new. Investigators have not said when they would conduct another search in this case.

Michelle Parker Timeline

Follow the search for Michelle Parker, from her disappearance in 2011 to now ▼

Parker was last seen in November 2011 as she dropped off her twin children with their father, Parker's ex-fiancé, Dale Smith. At the time, the former couple had recently appeared on an episode of "The People's Court," and just as that played out on TV, Parker's disappearance was unfolding.

Parker's family reported her missing after she didn't show up for her bartending shift at The Barn, in Sanford.

In the following days, police located Parker's black Hummer SUV near The Mall at Millenia. Investigators began an extensive search of Oak Ridge and Belle Isle.

Two years later, investigators released video of Parker's car by the Mall at Millenia the night she disappeared. Investigators said there could be multiple people involved in Parker's disappearance.

Smith has been called the "prime suspect," but he was never formally charged. Smith has since moved to Tennessee with his and Parker's two children.

We spoke to Dale Smith's attorney who said he maintains the same position as he always has, that he has nothing to do with Michelle's disapperance.

Meanwhile, Parker's family is still urging the public to help solve this case.

“If you know something say something. Somebody knows something. Just like they said, it was just not one person. There were three or four people involved in Michelle’s disappearance," Brad Parker said.
