SeaWorld reported big losses in attendance and revenue for 2014.

The most recent earnings report released Thursday showed 4.4 million people visit a SeaWorld Park in the fourth quarter of 2014, compared to 4.5 million in 2013.

Some 22.4 million visited the parks in 2014, down a full million people from 2013.

In terms of revenue, SeaWorld Entertainment made almost $1.4 billion last year, down more than $80 million from 2013.

SeaWorld is in the middle of a search for a new CEO. Jim Atchison stepped down from the position in January.

SeaWorld Entertainment has been struggling for the last couple of years as anti-animal captivity efforts increased, particularly in the wake of the documentary, "Blackfish."

SeaWorld Entertainment is an Orlando-based company that includes the SeaWorld parks across the United States, Aquatica, Discovery Cove, Busch Gardens and Sesame Place.
