If you're a theme park insider, you often know more than employees or cast members ever will. And by the time a theme park officially announces a new attraction, insiders have practically written the press release.

This year, we are expecting some big announcements, especially at Universal Orlando Resort.

We invited our partners at Orlando Attractions Magazine into our News 13 studios to give us the scoop. Banks Lee is one of the hosts, and his primary job is to catch wind of the changes and expose the details before anyone else:

ALLISON WALKER: In a permit granted by the South Florida Water Management District is "Project 533," how confident are you that this is indeed the water park?

BANKS LEE: Well, the fact that we've seen these permits because they are public knowledge. The public can go in there and see them at their will. It says it's a water park, so I think we're pretty confident it's going to be a water park called Volcano Bay. It's obviously - with the name Volcano Bay -  it's going to have a giant volcano as a center piece. It's going to go in the lots that's to the south of Cabana Bay - kind of as an extension of Cabana Bay. Cabana Bay, Volcano Bay. So you're going to have that plot of land right there for the water park. Giant over 100-foot-tall volcano, slide galore - that's pretty much all that we know basically for the theming. Don't know what kind of slides we'll get or lazy rivers or that kind of stuff, but it's very exciting.

AW: Universal is approaching its 25th anniversary. What's up with this Universal history museum we're hearing about?

BL: So the Gardens of Allah have been in place over there by Kidzone and Hollywood for a long time now. It used to have things in there back in the heyday of the park. Right now, walls are up and they are converting that, from what we've heard, into a history museum to celebrate the 25 years the park has been open, showcasing the past, the present and maybe even the future. Maybe they'll hint at some stuff there like they've done at Disney before with some of their exhibits kinda of showcased what's coming soon. That's what I would hope to see there.

AW: King Kong is now the elephant in the room. The building's up! It's right there!

BL: We all know! Universal has the tendency of building their stuff first, and then announcing it. But with all of these public plans, we all know what these projects are going to be. It was like that with Transformers, Potter. It took awhile for them to announce it, but we knew beforehand. So with this King Kong one, I mean, rock work is already starting to be put in there now. The building's enclosed. They're already starting to theme the outside of it. It's Skull Island. We just have to wait for Universal to tell us officially.

AW: Is Universal replacing Shrek 4D with a Star Trek experience?

BL: This is one of those rumors that is in such early stages that things are changing constantly. We don't really have anything I can say about that because I don't really know much myself. That's one of the rumors we've heard, but Shrek 4D has been popular for the park. It might be around for a little bit longer, but, who knows.

AW: As if Jimmy Fallon isn't the coolest guy ever already, is he seriously getting an attraction inspired by him?!

BL: Twister's been around for a long time - almost 20 years. It opened in '97. So I think it's that time for that to sail off into the sunset and bring in something more current. What we're hearing is it might be a Jimmy Fallon-type experience, kind of re-do the building to make it look like "30 Rock." You go in behind the scenes of "The Tonight Show." Then you get on this high-tech Soarin'-type ride. 'Cause that building's already tall because of the funnels they have to make in there for Twister, so that's all I know right now.

AW: Disney's Hollywood Studios - what do we know about blueprints for Star Wars?

BL: You know, I haven't seen any blueprints personally. But that's been a long-time rumor, even back in 2013 I was hearing this rumor of project Orange Harvest, I think was the project name. It's looking like the Star Wars land will encompass the Echo Lake area - from the old Idol building all the way to Star Tours. [Bob] Iger recently said that he wants to bring in Episode 7 into the theme park instead of concentrating on the older films. He wants to make sure they get things right with Episode 7 and have that come in. I'm hoping they announce it at the D23 Expo this summer.
