O negative blood donations are urgently needed in Central Florida, and OneBlood is putting out a call for it.
O negative blood is the universal blood type, which means anyone can receive it.
OneBlood, our area's blood center, said it has extremely low levels of the blood type because of high usage in area hospitals.
Generally healthy people age 16 or older who weigh at least 110 pounds can donate blood.
