If you're heading out to the beach in Volusia County, plan on paying more in some spots.
The county council approved ordinance changes that increase fees for vehicles on the beach and those changes take effect today.
This increase is the first one in 20 years.
Motorist will now pay $10 for a daily pass, $25 for a county resident annual pass and $100 for a non-resident annual pass.
Daily passes were previously $5.
