At least 15 people were injured after a pickup truck crashed into the back of a Lynx bus on Monday, authorities said.

It happened just after 1 p.m. at the intersection of Orange Blossom Trail and 37th Street in Orange County.

According to Florida Highway Patrol, the driver of the truck was traveling south on Orange Blossom Trail when it hit the back of a Lynx bus that was loading and unloading passengers at a bus stop.

Troopers said two people in the truck were critically injured. The driver of the bus, Carlos Santiago, 33, suffered severe injuries. At least 12 passengers on the bus were transported to area hospitals.
