SpaceX is planning to return to flight next week from the Cape Canaveral Air Force Station.

The company’s CEO, Elon Musk, tweeted this morning they’re aiming to test their Falcon 9 rocket on Dec. 16 and launch about three days later. That would mean a launch date of Saturday, Dec. 19.

This will be the first SpaceX launch since its Falcon 9 rocket exploded shortly after liftoff from the cape back in June.

The rocket and its Dragon capsule were destroyed.

The next launch will carry 11 satellites to space for the company Orbcomm.

News 13 will of course be there, and bring you the launch live.
