A 39-year-old Brevard County woman has won $1 million in a Florida Lottery scratch-off game.
Laura Aviles of Palm Bay chose to receive a one-time, lump-sum payment of $742,333.46. She bought the $25 "Florida Cash" scratch-off ticket at Sam's Discount Beverage at 370 S. Wickham Road in West Melbourne.
Scratch-off games comprise about 67 percent of lottery ticket sales, according to Florida Lottery officials.
The store will receive a $2,000 bonus for selling the winning ticket.
