Around the world in one night calls for a vacation, and like so many travelers, when Santa vacations in Florida, he likes to play golf.

And like so many who travel to Florida, Santa likes to visit Walt Disney World.

"Santa was so excited when he found this great location for vacation, he slid right down the side of the roof, through the snow, knocked over a flamingo and landed his sleigh — and Winnebago," said Jeffery Saunders, a Disney guest services manager.

Nestled under palms and pines at the foothills of Disney's Blizzard Beach Water Park awaits Winter Summerland, a miniature golf course dedicated to Santa's Florida vacation.

Visit Disney's Winter Summerland

"We have challenging holes; we have some very easy holes," Saunders said.

Just beyond the "Elfstream" trailers — which Saunders said are "elf-sized, for the elves to play in, hide in while the guests are out playing on the course" — Disney's Winter Summerland features two, 18-hole courses, one exclusively dedicated to the holidays Florida-style.

"It's actually, technically really good," said Kitty Carney, visiting from Georgia. She and her husband made Winter Summerland their first stop upon arriving for their vacation.

"It's very elaborate, so there are lots of things to see and do," said Carney, adding she appreciates the challenges of closing clams, squirting fish and surfboards that try to block your shot.

And then, there is — er, was — "Unfrosty" the Snowman, who appears to have melted on the course.

Oh, Frosty — what happened?

"It's warm," Saunders reminded us. "You look like you're in the cold, but refreshing — you're not fighting the cold temperatures and the real snow."

Unlike the holiday season, Winter Summerland is here year-round.

Well, except for Frosty, who — well, is ready for a day at the beach.

While Santa can't be found in person, there are signs he's here.

Look no further than this sand trap.

"You have Christmas in the summer and Christmas in the winter," said Carney, noting the second course themed around wintry features. There, more surprises pop up, swing down and go for a spin.

On the Winter course, you'll find more Christmas décor.

And, of course, keep your eyes peeled for a few hidden Mickeys hiding throughout the course.

"When the guests leave, they are usually in a very happy mood," Saunders said, adding, "Well, our winners are."

Disney's Winter Summerland miniature golf is open year-round, except for periods of seasonal maintenance. After all, they need to keep the greens looking fresh for St. Nick.

That's a wrap!
