The weather was not too bad for our Friday.

Temperatures were able to make it into the upper 70s to around 80 degrees, pretty seasonable for this time of year.

We did have a strong wind out of the northeast, which allowed for a few showers to move inland.

Similar conditions will stick around for the weekend.  The high winds will actually keep rough ocean conditions through Sunday.

We are under:

  • A small craft advisory through 4 p.m. Sunday
  • A coastal flood advisory through noon Saturday
  • A high surf advisory through 4pm Sunday

Mostly clear skies are in the forecast through the overnight hours. Winds will drop back a bit, but an isolated coastal shower will still be possible as we head toward daybreak Saturday. Temperatures will be mild, dropping into the mid to upper 60s.

Both Saturday and Sunday will hold a slim chance for a shower to move inland with a decent breeze continuing off of the Atlantic. Expect mostly sunny skies and warm temperatures as highs climb to about 80 degrees.

There are only a few days left of the Atlantic hurricane season, and no tropical development is expected.
