A 36-year-old woman was killed early Thanksgiving Day morning in a single-vehicle crash in Brevard County, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.
Jessica Hebert, of Merritt Island, was traveling west on State Road 520 approaching the intersection of Kiwanis Island Park Road.
Hebert's 2005 Nissan Altima traveled onto the westbound raised concrete curb and onto the grass shoulder. The front left of the vehicle struck a large traffic signal support pole, troopers said.
The vehicle rotated counterclockwise and came to a final rest facing south on the north side of the support pole, troopers said.
Hebert died at the scene. There were no other vehicles or people involved in the crash, troopers said.
