A local organization is going to feed about 400 families in Brevard County this Thanksgiving.

The National Veterans Homeless Support will be dropping off Thanksgiving meals to people in need Thursday. The non-profit group received donations from Lockheed Martin, Northrop Grumman, Cal Tech and many other organizations.

“Just to take the pressure off of their families and give thanks and give them something to relieve that pressure and just have the opportunity to thank them for their sacrifice, for their service. It is gratifying,” said George Taylor, founder of National Veterans Homeless support.

The organization said it will hand out free meals Thursday from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. at 511 Gilbert St. in Titusville.
