About 2,200 cyclists took over the roads in south Lake County Saturday and Sunday for the 36th annual Horrible Hundred ride.

The ride, known as the Super Bowl of cycling, kicked off at Waterfront Park in Clermont and consists of 35-, 70- and 100-mile routes.

No roads will be closed, so drivers are asked to use caution.

There will be signs at major intersections along the route warning of possible traffic delays.

The Horrible Hundred is a recreational ride known to challenge riders with all the hills Lake County has to offer, including Sugarloaf Mountain.
