It happened around 6:45 a.m. at the intersection of U.S. 1 and Huntington Avenue.

Troopers said Harold Douglas, 56, of Okeechobee, was driving a semi-truck southbound on U.S. 1 and attempted to make a left turn onto Huntington Avenue and turned into the path of a pickup truck driven by 34-year-old Scott Hackenberry, of Mims.
