We had a nice end to our workweek with high temperatures in the low-70s. Warmer temperatures and plenty of sunshine are in store for the weekend once we get past a chilly start to our Saturday.

Mostly clear skies are in the forecast through the overnight hours. While the wind will weaken from where we were Friday afternoon, it will still be a little breezy with colder air moving in. Low temperatures will be chilly, dropping into the mid- to low-40s. Our northern counties could even see another night with temperatures down in the 30s.

With the winds remaining between 10-15 knots offshore, ocean conditions will be a bit hazardous, and a Small Craft Advisory has been issued through 7 a.m. Saturday.

After the chilly start to the day, Saturday will hold mostly sunny skies for the afternoon. High temperatures will climb into the upper-60s to around 70 degrees. High pressure to our north will move offshore, which will switch our winds back to the east. This will help to keep temperatures in the 50s Saturday night and in the mid- to low-70s on Sunday.

Sunday will be warmer with partly sunny skies. An approaching front will start to increase rain chances late Sunday and especially throughout the day Monday.
