A Palm Coast woman was arrested Thursday and charged with grand theft after deputies said she stole two bags from Daytona Beach International Airport.

The Volusia County Sheriff’s Office says Dallas Lockyer, 62, was seen on the airport’s closed circuit surveillance system Dec. 22 swiping two bags from the baggage carousel and tearing off the identification tags before being picked up at the airport.

Investigators were able to obtain the license plate number from the vehicle that picked up Lockyer.

Deputies said the bags and their contents, valued at $5,620, haven’t been recovered.

The Flagler County Sheriff’s Office arrested Lockyer at her Palm Coast home. She was booked into the Flagler County Detention Facility on a $10,000 bond.
