A judge has sentenced a former Volusia County teacher to 210 years in prison for child pornography.

The sentence was handed down in federal court Monday for 43-year-old Matthew Graziotti.

Graziotti pleaded guilty in October 2014 to child pornography charges, but prosecutors said he also sexually abused 29 children while he worked at Warner Christian Academy, in South Daytona.

One prosecutor called Graziotti "a skilled sexual predator" who used his job to prey on children.

Graziotti was also a summer camp coordinator at the academy. He was arrested in July.

"That's the court's decision and we want him as far removed from any children as possible for many, many years to come," said Warner Christian Academy Superintendent Mark Tress.

According to investigators, Graziotti molested several children between ages 6 and 12 at his Edgewater home, and even one on a bus while the child was sleeping.

Graziotti allegedly took pictures of the acts and then posted them on a file-sharing service.

"Amen to that. He deserves everything he got coming to him, maybe he'll make friends in prison," said Teresa Bishop, who was picking her grandson up from the school.

Superintendent Tress said many just want the nightmare of a teacher possibly molesting as many as 29 children under the age of 12 — many of them students — to go away.

"We're sorry that this had to happen to the children and I said in the beginning, our children are our number one concern," Tress said. "We're gonna continue to do what we need to do and help in the healing process."

Some parents, however, are suing Warner Christian Academy over this case.
