After a week-long search, a missing Volusia County Army veteran was reunited with his family and then arrested on an open warrant.
Joshua Redding was reported missing by his family Monday, Jan. 12 after he was last seen Friday, Jan. 9 at his home.
The family announced on the Search for Joshua Redding Facebook page Saturday that he had been found.
Deputies said Redding hitchhiked to Ocala and then contacted his family Saturday after learning he had been reported missing.
Redding was arrested Sunday on a probation violation associated with a grand theft charge. He is being held without bond in the Volusia County Branch Jail.
