An investigation is underway after a woman was found shot inside a vehicle in Lake County, deputies said Sunday.
The Lake County Sheriff's Office started receiving 911 calls around 3:09 p.m. Sunday regarding an injured female inside a vehicle at the intersection of County Road 44 and Bates Avenue, in Eustis.
The woman died from an apparent gunshot wound shortly after deputies arrived to the scene.
"The case is currently being investigated as detectives are collecting evidence and conducting interview," said Lt. John Herrell, public information officer for the Lake County Sherriff's Office.
Herrell said all participants involved in the incident have been located and are being interviewed.
No other information was immediately available.
