Charges have been dropped against former WWE pro-wrestler Kevin Nash after a bloody fight with his 18-year-old son in Volusia County early Christmas Eve morning.

Nash, also known by his former ring name "Diesel," was arrested for battery after an altercation with his son, Tristen, at their home in Daytona Beach Shores. Tristen was also arrested, because deputies said he attacked his mother, Tamara.

Nash, 55, posted Wednesday on Twitter that all charges against him had been dropped.

The State Attorney's Office confirmed Thursday that its investigation determined Kevin Nash was not the primary aggressor in the situation. The investigation against Tristen Nash, however, remains ongoing.

Kevin Nash told deputies his son had arrived home intoxicated shortly after midnight on Christmas Eve morning and acted "belligerent" toward him and the teen's mother.

The father and son then got into a physical fight, which left both bleeding, but with minor injuries. The elder Nash was scratched near his eye, and Tristen was cut on his elbow.

News 13's cameras were rolling when Kevin Nash bonded out of the Volusia County Branch Jail later that afternoon. When asked if he had anything to say, Nash simply replied, "Merry Christmas." He then added, "Looks like you're not smart enough to get out of the rain, are you?"

WWE suspended Nash following his arrest. He had been signed under WWE's Legends program, and last competed in the ring at the 2014 Royal Rumble in January.

After charges were dropped against him Wednesday, Nash tweeted:
