A 42-year-old woman was killed and six other people were injured in a two-vehicle crash early Saturday morning in Orange County, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.

Elvis Perez Gonzalez, 46, of Orlando, was traveling westbound on State Road 528 (The Beachline) near mile marker 1 around 1 a.m. Saturday in a Toyota Camry.

Chat Jetvig, 48, of Fargo, North Dakota, was also traveling westbound on State Road 528.

For an unknown reason, the front of Gonzalez's car struck the rear of Jetvig's Dodge van. The roadway was wet, and both vehicles went out of control, the report states.

Gonzalez's vehicle drove to the south and struck the center guardrail and caught fire. The van drove to the north and struck a concrete power pole with its right front.

Julia Camille Jetvig, 42, of Fort Myers, died from the impact with the power pole, the report states. She was in the front passenger seat of the van.

Chad Jetvig suffered serious injuries. Four other passengers, ages 10, 10, 16 and 17, suffered minor injuries, the report states.

Gonzalez was seriously injured.

The crash remains under investigation. Charges are pending against Gonzalez, the report states.
