A former Walt Disney World employee remains behind bars after police found a machine gun inside his car.

Police said they initiated a traffic stop around 3:30 a.m. Wednesday at South Orange and Pineloch avenues for an expired registration.

When asked for his driver license, they said Antwain Carpenter, 25, provided his Disney employee identification card. He told officers he's worked for Disney for two years.

An officer then saw the barrel and magazine of a firearm concealed on the car's floorboard.

A search located a 9mm Master Piece Arms machine gun, containing a 30-round magazine and one bullet in the chamber. Police said the gun's safety was also off.

The street drug Molly was located in a backpack inside the vehicle.

Police said they found three bags of MDMA on Antwan Roberts, one of the two passengers.

The two men were uncooperative during the investigation, police said, and refused to provide current addresses, phone or social security numbers. Officers were able to determine Carpenter did not have a Florida identification or driver license, and he did have a suspended Georgia license.

Roberts, 31, was charged with possession of MDMA and resisting an officer without violence. He remains in jail on $2,200 bond.

Police charged Carpenter with carrying a concealed firearm, possession of a machine gun and driving with a suspended license. His bond was set at $10,400.

The third passenger was not charged.

Since the arrest, Disney World officials have issued a statement saying that Carpenter has not worked for Disney World for several months, and they are investigating why he still had his identification card.
