Orlando police say they have captured the man who got into a standoff at an apartment complex in Orange County.
Monday evening, police were called to the Waterstone Apartments, 5224 Long Road, just south of Clarcona-Ocoee Road.
Police said Matthew Mikell, 51, threatened his girlfriend with a gun, which led to the standoff.
Police fired smoke canisters and went into the apartment, but Mikell was gone.
People who live in the building were evacuated during the ordeal, but were being allowed back in after the smoke cleared.
Police said Mikell was found Tuesday morning at the complex.
