For the second time in less than two weeks, SpaceX will send another Falcon 9 rocket into space early Saturday morning.

The rocket is carrying University of Central Florida physics professor Joshua Colwell’s research to explore low-energy collisions of dust particles.

It's hoped the experiments will help us better understand the conditions that lead to planet formation.

UCF Engineering alumnus Jason Dunn’s 3-D printer is also on board.

Dunn hopes the printer can produce whatever is needed for safe operations in space.

Forecasters said there is a 30 percent chance of weather violating launch constraints, with the thick cloud rule and flight through precipitation being the primary concerns.

If the launch is scrubbed, weather conditions improve to 70 percent 'go.'

News 13 will have LIVE coverage of the liftoff, which is set for 2:14 a.m. Saturday.
