Seminole County investigators are trying to determine why a man drowned in a pond near a Sanford apartment complex.
It happened near the Tropicana Apartments on Country Club Circle.
The man's friends called 911 just before 6 p.m. when they hadn't seen their friend in about 30 minutes.
The victim's name has not yet been released.
