"Star Wars'" presence in Disney's theme parks will grow. And we'll learn how next year.
That's what Disney chief Robert Iger announced Tuesday during a conference call to discuss third quarter results.
Variety reports Iger will reveal a first look at attractions next year, but did not get specific. As the bi-annual D23 Expo is expected to be in Anaheim in August 2015, it would make sense if Disney announced those plans then.
Currently the only "Star Wars"-related attraction at Disney's Parks is Star Tours. Disney's Hollywood Studios also hosts "Star Wars" Weekends every year.
The next "Star Wars" film is scheduled to hit theaters December 2015.
