Two men are on the run after robbing an Orange County convenience store.

It happened just before 4 a.m. Friday at the store at Clarcona Ocoee and Apopka Vineland roads.

Deputies said 2 men wearing multicolored outfits and T-shirts covering their faces entered the store. One suspect was carrying a shotgun.

Investigators said they confronted the female clerk in a back office, demanding money and the clerk's cell phone.

Deputies said the two fled with the phone and an undetermined amount of cash.

The clerk stayed in the office, and was unable to say if the suspects fled on foot or in a vehicle.

The Sheriff's Office believes the men left in a car because a K-9 unit tracked their scents to the parking lot.

Deputies are currently reviewing the surveillance video from the store.

The clerk was not injured.
