The woman who was injured during a purse-snatching incident at an Orange County-area Publix has been released from the hospital.

Charlotte Dunaway was knocked down when a man stole her purse at the entrance of a Publix located on East Silver Star Road, in Ocoee.

Police said Dunaway was walking into the store when an unknown man grabbed the purse from her and knocked her to the ground.

The suspect then got into a purple two-door car with two other men and left the area, police said.

Dunaway, 74, was taken to Orlando Regional Medical Center. She confirmed Sunday morning in a phone call with News 13 that she has been released. She also expressed her desire to have the suspects caught.

Anyone with information on the incident is asked to call CrimeLine at 800-423-TIPS (8477).
