A 26-story hotel and mall are coming to International Drive in Orange County.

Orlando's City Council gave the massive megamall the green light Monday.

The project will feature upscale retailers, a hotel with more than 700 rooms, indoor ice skating, a 100,000-square-foot convention center, a 500-seat theater and a rooftop observation deck with a rotating restaurant.

Our news partners at the Orlando Business Journal report the project is expected to create 2,000 jobs and will open in the summer of 2017.
