Guests started to gather early Wednesday at Universal Orlando Resort, a day after the Wizarding World of Harry Potter: Diagon Alley officially opened.
Thousands of fans packed Universal Studios Florida Tuesday morning for their first look at Diagon Alley.
Most found long wait times especially for Diagon Alley's signature ride, Harry Potter and the Escape from Gringotts. The sign outside the ride posted wait times topping 355 minutes, which is about six hours. Some guests even reported posted wait times closer to seven hours.
Guests also said Harry Potter and the Escape from Gringotts experienced some glitches throughout opening day.
Universal’s early 8 a.m. start time will continue through Aug. 9.
Guests will need to purchase a two-park ticket to travel aboard the Hogwarts Express between the King’s Cross station in Universal Studios to the Hogsmeade station inside Islands of Adventure.
