Anyone who has been to the Downtown Disney area lately knows it has become a maze of construction walls within the complex and orange cones on the roads around.

New renderings released this week by Disney show what some of it is leading to, and that the road work is not likely to let up any time soon.

The Disney Parks Blog released two new renderings for the Disney Springs project this week, which expands Downtown Disney.

Disney said it is widening Lake Buena Vista Drive. It will go from seven lanes to 10 lanes. Disney said it is also planning a new I-4 interchange that will allow guests to drive right into the Disney Springs complex.

The new renderings also show one of the two parking garages currently being built around Disney. That first parking garage will open by the end of the year and provide 4,000 parking spaces.

Two pedestrian bridges will also eventually built to provide more access.

The first phase of Disney Springs, The Landing, is set to open in 2015 with lakefront shopping and dining.
