Police in Casselberry have arrested two people they say where caught sleeping in a car in the neighborhood where they had just burglarized numerous vehicles.

The arrest happened early Wednesday morning.

Investigators said 22-year-old Sebastian Gaarlandt and 24-year-old Kristine Gankos burglarized numerous vehicles in the Carmel By The Lake Condominium Complex overnight.

But around 7:30 a.m. Wednesday, both suspects were discovered passed out asleep in their own vehicle, which was still at the scene.

Inside the suspect's vehicle were some of the items stolen from the burglaries.

Both suspects were arrested and charged with burglary and theft.

Gaarlandt is being at the John Polk Correctional Facility, and Gankos is being held at a local hospital for what police say is an unrelated condition.
