Divers retrieved the body of a man from an Apopka lake Wednesday after neighbors say they saw him swimming and calling out for help.
The incident happened at Cub Lake off Bear Lake Road. That's in the Seminole County side of Apopka.
Seminole County Fire Department said a neighbor called before 7 p.m. to say they saw a man believed to be in his 30's swimming toward the shore and calling out for help.
When firefighters got there they had divers go in the water. They found the man's body about an hour later.
Florida Fish and Wildlife is handling the case right now.
