Walt Disney World confirmed Friday morning that they've reached a tentative agreement for a contract that impacts tens of thousands of employees.

The deal was reached last night and the tentative agreement -- that includes wage increases -- is with Disney's largest union.

The deal is between Disney and the Service Trades Council Union, which represents six affiliate unions.

A Disney spokesperson told us this morning the the agreement includes wage increases.

Once ratified, starting wages will raise to $9 an hour.

They'll go up to $9.50 an hour in 2015, and $10 an hour in 2016.

It's a part of contract that will run through 2020.

The union says they represent about 30,000 Disney cast members in various jobs, from retail, food and beverage, custodial, transportation, entertainment and attractions.

They say they've been negotiating with Disney for almost five months.

Their last contract extension was set to expire at midnight, but this deal gives the union until August 4 to vote on it, according to Disney.

The union's president, Ed Chambers, said they were very pleased with obtaining the raises without adding additional costs.

"Overall we are very pleased. We were able to obtain hourly wage increases for all cast members without any additional health care costs through 2015," said Chambers.

The union notes that members still need to approve the contract. A ratification vote is set for August 1.
