A popular Seminole County park will be getting a facelift this summer.

The city manager said the boardwalk and concert stage areas of Cranes Roost Park will be fixed, as well as Cranes Roost Boulevard.

The work is expected to take up to a year and a half to complete and will begin after the annual “Red, Hot and Boom” celebration July 3.

Renovations will cost $3.1 million.
