Law Enforcement agents and Family members are asking for the public's help in locating 15-year-old Amanda Haynes of St. Cloud.

Now police are saying her disappearance is suspicious, and they are focusing their full attention on finding Haynes.

Posters are posted all around Saint Cloud, as Amanda Haynes' family and police search for the missing teen.

Now police have told us finding Amanda Haynes is their number one priority.

She went missing last Sunday night; and Denise Haynes, Amanda's mother, said her daughter sneaks out of her bedroom sometimes, but she's always home in the morning and she always stays in touch with her family or friends.

According to police she was supposed to meet with friends at a nearby pizzeria, but her friends say she never made it.

Now investigators say the teen's behavior leading up to, and following her disappearance just isn’t adding up.

“Basically her pattern has just been unusual, and she has gone missing before for a couple of hours but she has always come back. And she has always kept in contact with somebody,” said St. Cloud Police Department Spokesman Denise Robert.

Last night her mother told us Haynes hasn’t kept in touch with anyone via social media. And that is worrying her.

“She’s not checking Facebook," Denise Haynes said. "She’s not checking any messages on Facebook. She’s not responding to anything. Facebook is her thing. It just seems very odd.”

A spokesperson for St. Cloud police said during their investigation this week they arrested someone, but that arrest is not directly related to Amanda’s disappearance. Amanda’s mother is afraid that person may have hurt her daughter.

“I’m afraid that he might have taken her somewhere, maybe she’s with somebody else but I don’t know," said Denise Haynes. "I can’t imagine why he won’t tell us what’s going on.”

Police are not releasing the name of the person they arrested.
