Monday marks five years since Ocoee resident Tracy Ocasio walked out of a Metrowest bar after watching an Orlando Magic playoff game, and was not seen or heard from again.

Despite multiple search efforts over the last five years by Ocoee police, Tracy's disappearance remains a mystery.

Tracy's father, Joe Ocasio, released the following statement Sunday:

It is surreal that tomorrow marks 5 years since Tracy was taken from us and we still have no answers.

There are times when it feels we might never be able to know but then we put those thoughts aside and keep going with the hopes we'll someday bring her home, good or bad.

Please help us keep her case alive so that maybe one day someone with the knowledge will come forward and give us the answers we seek.

God Bless,
Joe Ocasio, Tracy's Father

Tracy Ocasio was last seen leaving the Orlando Tap Room on May 26, 2009. Surveillance camera footage showed her exiting the bar with a man identified as James Hataway.

Her yellow Chevrolet was found the following day in Ocoee, not far from her parents' home. But there was no sign of the then-27-year-old.

Hataway was named a person of interest in her disappearance, but was never charged in the case. He was sentenced to life in prison in May 2011 for the attempted murder of another woman in Seminole County months before Ocasio disappeared.

A reward of up to $20,000 remains posted on CrimeLine for any information leading to Tracy Ocasio's whereabouts. If you have information about what happened to her, call Crimeline at (800) 423-TIPS (8477).
