Dozens of protesters showed up at a brand new planned parenthood facility in Kissimmee.

Pro-Life advocates lined the streets outside the medical plaza where Planned Parenthood held their ribbon cutting on Wednesday.

Director of planned parenthood, Jenna Toch spoke during the ribbon cutting and said, “I am so proud that we are expanding our affordable healthcare and education services to Osceola County.”

While they celebrated the ribbon cutting inside, protestors raised signs, and their voices, outside.

"We don’t think it’s fair that there are campaign's to save turtles and plants and the environment and all these other things to respect life. But we are just disrespecting human life," said Coleen Arago, a protester of the new facility.

Available at the facility are Healthcare services like HIV, and STD testing and treatment, breast and cervical cancer screenings, birth control as well as abortions.

Planned Parenthood told us they haven’t decided whether or not full time security will be a presence here, but the Kissimmee Police Department was there during the protests. They also told us their goal is to provide the care they believe Osceola County needs.

Planned Parenthood doesn’t have an official opening date but they told us they hope to open officially to the public sometime in early June.
