Orange County Sheriff's deputies arrested a man on charges of human trafficking, and procure for prostitution on Sunday, April 27.

It began when a deputy noticed a woman get out of a car with two men in the front. She crossed the Orange Blossom Trail and began to head north.

The deputy conducted a consensual encounter with the young woman, who lied about her name before admitting the truth to the deputy.

The girl seemed afraid and timid to deputies.

A deputy informed the girl that sheriff's office was more than willing to help her, but needed to know what was going on in order to be of assistance.

The girl gave deputies the whole story; how she left Atlanta after a friend suggested the idea of prostitution in Miami, and how she was lured from Miami to Orlando by a suspicious pimp, known only as "Silky."

The girl also informed deputies "Silky" forced her into prostitution with physical threats, and all the money made from those acts went straight into his pockets.

She further explained "Silky" used his friend as a driver and put hotel rooms in his name.

Deputies then tried to lure "Silky" to a hotel, but he was unwilling after seeing the girl with deputies just a short time before.

The girl took deputies to the hotel she had been staying at with "Silky," and gave them permission to search the room.

Deputies took two receipts for the Days Inn stating Lamar Montel Postlewaite -- "Silky's" friend and driver, had rented the room, along with a black samsung cellphone and a black Nokia cellphone into evidence.

Deputies used software to identify Postlewaite, and the girl confirmed his identity. Deputies then made contact with Postlewaite at his residence, and he agreed to speak without a lawyer present.

Because Postlewaite was found to be transporting, soliciting, recruiting, harboring, providing, enticing, maintaining, or obtaining another person for the sole purpose of exploitation of that person, he is being charged with human trafficking.

Postlewaite is being charged with procure for prostitution because he accepted money he knew to be, or believed to be, the earnings or proceeds of a person engaged in prostitution.

Deputies are still searching for "Silky" and are asking anyone with information to call the Orange County Sheriff's Office, or their local law enforcement office.
