FCAT testing resumed as scheduled Wednesday after a server outage forced some school districts to suspend testing on Tuesday.

Those officials worked with Pearson, the company behind FCAT testing, throughout the night and into this morning on issues that affected online testing in Florida yesterday.

Pearson pointed their finger at CenturyLink, but says issues were corrected and verified early this morning. Pearson has enlisted the services of a new provider to minimize chances of interruptions to the rest of testing.

Officials claim this solution has also been tested and verified overnight. Pearson has assured the FLDOE that this strategy will resolve the issues related to yesterday's system errors, and testing will resume with full functionality of the system.

Most schools resumed testing Wednesday morning, or continued as scheduled.
