A News 13 viewer in Volusia County sent us pictures and video of a fire burning in Lake Helen after a tree fell during heavy storms Friday, knocking down power lines.

Volusia County fire officials said they received a report around 8:20 p.m. that a tree had fallen on a power line on the 200 block of South Euclid Avenue, igniting a fire.

Firefighters arrived a short time later. It took crews a little over an hour to completely extinguish the fire.

No one was injured, and no nearby homes were damaged, fire officials said.

Chris, a viewer in Lake Helen, sent us this video and photo shortly after 9:30 p.m., not long before firefighters put out the flames.
