A mistrial has been declared in Seminole County in the case against the second member of the Warlocks motorcycle gang to stand trial on charges of killing rival gang members in 2012.

The trial against Victor Amaro, 41, started Monday with jury selection.

Amaro, a member of the Philly Warlocks Motorcycle Club, was an alleged accomplice of gang leader David Maloney in the 2012 shootings outside a VFW hall in Winter Springs.

Maloney was acquitted earlier in April of two counts of second-degree murder and one count of attempted first-degree murder. He is awaiting retrial on May 14 on a second count of attempted first-degree murder after the jury in Maloney's trial could not reach a verdict on that count.

Two other Warlocks gang members, Robert Eckert and Paul Smith, still await their trials for the same shooting, in which three members of the rival Florida Warlocks gang were killed.
