The city of Edgewood has a new police chief.
Chris Francisco was sworn in as the newest police chief at the City Council's April 15 meeting.
Edgewood Mayor Ray Bagshaw said Francisco came "very highly recommended" from the Florida Department of Law Enforcement.
Francisco previously worked for the Orange County Sheriff's Office for more than 26 years.
