Supervisor of elections office workers are rolling up their sleeves and bracing for a very active elections season.

Volusia County Supervisor of Elections Anne Mcfall said there could be as many as 15 circuit judge seats up for election this year. There will also be four county council seats, nine mayoral seats and 40 city commission seats.

The Volusia School District is also putting a half cent sales tax on the ballot.

And four of 16 Volusia County cities have indicated they plan to have charter amendments.
