Lake County Commissioners want answers about why some of its residents are being left out of the Wekiva Parkway.

The commissioners are expected to approve a resolution Tuesday and send to the Florida Department of Transportation.

A temporary interchange is set to open at County Road 435 and the 429 early next year but once the Wekiva Parkway is completed they plan to remove it, and commissioners want to know why.

They said there could be particular negative impacts for the community of Mt. Plymouth and they want FDOT to conduct a study to keep the ramps open.
