Three people, including a 2-year-old girl, were injured Sunday after a motorcycle crashed into a crowd watching a parade in Cocoa.

The Cocoa Police Department said Gerry Carl Doyle, 58, of Palm Shores was riding his motorcycle in the 33rd-annual Abate Toy Run and as he was turning south on U.S. 1, from State Road 520, he failed the make the turn  and lost control.

Investigators said the motorcycle and struck three people who were watching the parade on the southwest corner of the intersection.

Police said Tammy Maskrey, 44, Rockledge, was taken by ambulance to Wuesthoff Hospital where she was treated and released.

Maskrey’s daughter, 22-year-old Breanna Donna of Rockledge, was airlifted to Holmes Regional Medical Center for head trauma. Her condition has not been released.

Tammy’s 2-year-old granddaughter, Kadence Donna also of Rockledge, was airlifted to Arnold Palmer Hospital in Orlando for head injuries.

The investigation continues.
